Timeframe M1 · unit score
Signed accumulation of pin-bar shape quality over 14 bars. Bullish pin bars (long lower wick, small body near the top) contribute positively; bearish pin bars (long upper wick, small body near the bottom) contribute negatively.
Positive values: recent bars have predominantly shown the long-lower-wick shape associated with downside rejection. Negative: predominantly upper-wick rejection of upside. Near zero: no meaningful pin-bar pattern.
A pin bar is a candle with a tiny body and one very long wick - the market shot in one direction but was completely rejected and snapped back. This score measures how many such rejection candles have appeared and in which direction.
Janira computes Pin Bar Score 14 deterministically from live price action, the same way for every reading - no discretion, no hidden weighting. This page explains the method; it is not a live reading and not advice.
