MACD Signal Line (M1)Trend

Timeframe M1 · unit pts

What it measures

A 9-bar exponential smoothing of the MACD line - it acts as a slow-reacting lens on the momentum gap, filtering out bar-to-bar jitter.

How Janira reads it (bullish vs bearish)

The signal line lags the MACD line deliberately. Its level (above/below zero) describes the prevailing momentum trend after smoothing. The gap between MACD and signal is the histogram.

In plain language

If the MACD line is a river current, the signal line is the average current reading taken over the last nine readings. It tells you whether the flow has been generally fast or slow lately.
